The largest Faculty in the University, we bring together 12 academic departments, 17 Bachelor programs, a PhD program and a growing number of Masters programs We study individuals, communities, societies, organisations, arts, language, thought, culture, and heritage.  We provide increased understanding of human beings and their contexts, and address challenges and priorities presented by rapid global change.

Technology in Education - please switch on your phone in class!

Students use smart phones all the time. FHSS faculty are investigating how students can use phones, iPods and other mobile devices for effective learning.  Faculty are creating resources or lessons that require students to use their devices to study and practice interviewing, interpreting, speech forms, and learning skills.
